Overview of the Program:
MBA in Healthcare Management is a 2-year, full time, management program that is designed to empower the graduates and healthcare professionals with the latest healthcare technologies. Students will learn about Healthcare Analytics, Data Science, and Applications of Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence. A Harvard Business Report by Thomas H. Davenport and D. J. Patil (2012) mentions data science as the hottest job of the 21st century. This programme lays strong emphasis on data, research and technical skills which are highly valued by healthcare organizations and professional consulting organizations worldwide.
In addition to studying business strategies, health management and financial disciplines, the students will have an opportunity to gain a direct work experience in various healthcare firms. The program will help bridge the gap between the healthcare industry and academia and subsequently lay a firm foundation regarding the challenges faced by leading hospitals, pharmaceutical industry, clinical research laboratories, healthcare consultancy firms, public health system, etc. The program aims at developing excellent healthcare management professionals to effectively lead the healthcare organizations around the globe.
It is a postgraduate degree program, designed in a 4-semester format, each semester comprising of 6months. First three semesters will be attended by the students at Asia-Pacific campus, and one full semester (IV semester) will be attended by the students at RUDN University in Russia. Eligibility
The basic eligibility to take admission in this course is a bachelor’s degree like MBBS, B.Pharma, BDS, BPT, BPE, Nursing and other graduate degree like BBA, B.Com., B.Sc., B.Sc.P.T., B.A. B.S.W. etc.
Assessment Criteria
Applications would be processed as and when received; the eligible candidates will be invited for written aptitude test, group discussion (GD) followed by personal interview (PI). The candidates would be selected for admission on the basis of their past academic record and performance in the GD & PI. Candidates are required to bring original documents at the time of the interview.
